Term 3 - Bird Watching

The focus in Outdoor adventures this term ahs been about the RSPB Gig Garden Birch watch - the children made bird feeders from pine cones, made binoculars from cardboard tubes and in the last week completed a survey.

The children made a nest for a 'owlet' and found 'worms to feed the 'owlet'.

Jon from Outdoor Adventures - took photo's of the birds that were fond in the garden and shared them with the children on the projector.

We also introduced our 'crafty' afternoon. Where we have a more focused adult directed groups to make something or practice skills such as hand eye co-ordination and listening skills.
