Welcome to Oldfield Park Pre-school
We hope that you find the following information helpful in what to send to Pre-school with your child.
A piece of fruit for snack in a named snack pot.
A healthy packed lunch in a named lunch box/bag
A named water bottle - water only please.
A set of spare clothes
Nappies, wipes, and nappy sacks if appropriate
Sun hat
Hat, scarf and gloves
Coat appropriate for the season.
A piece of fruit for snack - We ask that children have apiece of fruit for snack time. Grapes/large blueberries must be cut in half. Please ensure that snacks are in a separate container which is named.
A healthy packed lunch - This could include rice, pasta, wraps, some fruit, yoghurt, carrot, cucumber sticks. A bottle of water. We recommend an amount that your child will eat in 30 minutes. Lunchbox ideas and recipes – Healthier Families - NHS Have some great idea’s for lunch boxes.
We are a nut free setting - Please do not send in food items that contain nut products.
Uniform and spare clothes - We suggest that children wear clothing that can get messy, and they can manage themselves when using the toilet - leggings and jogging bottoms for example.
We for at least one set of spare clothes to be kept in a named box at pre-school. If your child is toilet training, we suggest lots of spare clothes and a pair of shoes.
We do have Pre-school uniform available to buy via the link on the website. We also have some pre-loved uniform.
Unwell Children - Please do let us know if your child is unwell and not attending pre-school. We are happy to receive a text or WhatsApp message.
